As many of you already know, USAHockey has cancelled their National Tournament and encouraged all teams to take appropriate precautions to help stop the spread of the novel coronavirus COVID-19. This is the appropriate public health response to a declared pandemic. We have decided to follow USAHockey's example and cancel WCHL playoffs this season with the potential for rescheduling only if it is safe and appropriate to do so.

The Greater Green Bay Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) as well as Cornerstone Rink were expecting our call to discuss changing the dates of the tournament.

Per the CVB - All hotel reservations that have been made through the link we provided on the Playoffs website are in the process of being canceled at no penalty to the players and coaches. All deposits will be refunded in full. If you have not made your reservation through this system you will have to contact your hotel directly to cancel.

We know this is a disappointment to many people. We did not make this decision lightly. The way that we can all act to limit the spread of COVID-19 is limiting travel, limiting activities in large groups, washing our hands properly (check out Gloria Gaynor singing I Will Survive while demonstrating proper technique and length of time for hand washing) and avoiding touching our face until after we wash our hands and then wash them after touching our face.
